Water. What is it? is it only a resource? or a scientific element? In my point of view, water is actually more than that. It has inspired poets for years. It has given life to each and every living thing.

Dr. Pankaj Panwar, scientist at Indian
Institute for Soil and Water Conservation Research Centre. Sir told me various ways by which we
can conserve water. He told us that water conservation is of two types-
- · In Situ
- · Ex Situ
In situ is when the water is directly
conserved at its precipitation. For eg- Drenches, Plantation etc.
Sir told that ex situ
conservation is good. He gave the example of sukhna lake, which is also based
on ex situ conservation.

So,
I went to Sukhna Lake. but i found out that the lake too, with the
passage of time is getting polluted. But the efforts of people like Dr.
Pankaj have kept the lake alive.
